Recommendations for a laptop for REW usage only?

I am looking to replace my NUC for REW usage, and I would like to know what works best for around $600. Last time I bought a laptop, I remember some laptops were proprietary on drivers and I want something that will work smoothly without driver hassles.

I use a Lenovo X1 Carbon 14" here. I also use it for Roon. I still use my NUC for the server and it runs Roon ROCK.

No issues with software here.

It certainly looks like a good one to me. Lenovo is known for making good laptops.

I can't see where you'd have any issues running REW on it.

I've been using a 2011 MacBook Air for REW and music delivery. That model has an SD card reader. Cheap. Wonderful. Can be used away. BTW, I've posted how excellent is the built-in mic everywhere north of 100 (if I recall), good match to calibrated mic if held in same location.
