You can quote only part of a message by simply highlighting the part of the text you want to copy. A quote box will popup at the end of the text you highlight... as follows:

Click on +Quote and the highlighted text will be saved for you if you plan to quote other snippets in any other posts in the thread. Or if you only want to quote that one highlighted section go ahead and click on Reply and it will add it to the message pane for you.

If you plan on quoting more text from the same post or other posts in the thread... highlight them and continue to click +Quote. Once you are ready to post all of your quotes, scroll down to the reply box and you will see a button for Insert Quotes.

Click it and all of the text you highlighted will popup for verification. You can remove any individual quote or insert them all by clicking on Quote These Messages:

Once you click on Quote These Messages you will see the quotes added to your reply post message pane for you to now reply to as you so desire:

Reply and click Post Reply. The next post shows you what I just quoted and my replies.

Wow, this new forum software is really flexible. this is great!

  4. Like anything that is flexible, though, there is a learning curve. But we are pretty happy with it. Far better than what most are using. And more well developed than all of the free php stuff out there.
