Quick question about using REW with a UMIK-1 and RME Fireface UCX.

Quick question about using REW with a UMIK-1 and RME Fireface UCX.
Is there any measurement performance benefit if the UMIK-1 is routed through the RME UCX instead of connecting it directly to the computer via USB?

Since the UMIK-1 has its own built-in ADC, I assume the best setup is:

Input: UMIK-1 (USB directly to PC)
Output: RME Fireface UCX → speakers

Just want to confirm if that’s the correct or optimal configuration.??

It's the only option you have with that equipment. Optimal configuration would be to get a XLR mic and plug it into your audio interface.
