Question about the alignment tool

Hi!

The graph shows two impulses: the original (orange) and the violet one, which is the impulse generated by the EQ correction.

The question is: is there a reason why the correction's impulse response is positioned at that distance from zero (2.5209) rather than exactly at zero?
Regardless of that, I need to shift the impulse back to compensate for that offset and then export it as a .WAV file.

Filter responses start at t=0, check the Impulse graph for the filter response. If it is shifted that must have been done manually at some point, in which case it can be reversed by using the Offset t=0 tool. The alignment tool can shift the displayed traces to take account of time delay in the first trace (that is the Remove time delay check box).
