I believe I mentioned this in a thread here recently. :scratch:

After QDEL it will be micro-LED unless they speed up that technology lane quite a bit.
 
What's happening is difficulty scaling it down to smaller sizes. Having trouble doing it. It's very much alive in large formats tho. I think Samsung and LG are just cooling their jets a bit right now, but microLED is far from being off the table.
