Levina AV brings joy to hurricane-hit homeowners with a colorful audio setup from
L-Acoustics that delivers on all levels

SIESTA KEY, FLORIDA – October 2025 - While losing a home to a series of hurricanes is undeniably challenging, one music-loving couple in Florida turned adversity into opportunity. Choosing to relocate rather than renovate, they embraced the chance to invest in a new property - one that allowed them to fully celebrate and immerse themselves in their passion for music, powered by L-Acoustics.

Their previous home featured a high-end audio system tailored to their love of jazz. However, as their musical tastes evolved, so did their requirements - a shift that Daniel Claude, owner of Florida-based installation company Levina AV helped the couple navigate.

“As we talked, we realised that while they had been happy with their previous system's precision, they wanted to take things in a different direction to achieve the energy, immersiveness and emotional impact of a live concert experience. With L-Acoustics' concert-grade audio solutions, trusted by the world's top musical artists and venues, we saw an opportunity to elevate their experience from clinical reproduction to something more visceral and emotionally engaging.”

Claude recommended L-Acoustics as the ideal choice, highlighting the brand’s rich heritage in live sound and its ability to bring the power, precision, and emotional warmth the client desired into their luxury home environment.

The client agreed with this approach and Levina moved forward to a design, working closely with L-Acoustics and utilising its modelling software, Soundvision. Using Soundvision empowers integrators to optimize speaker selection, placement, and performance with precision. By removing guesswork from the design process, Soundvision ensures predictable, showroom-quality results in real-world installations, giving clients confidence and delivering consistently exceptional audio experiences.

For the living room, Levina opted for Syva together with Syva Low speakers situated either side of a 97” LG G4 OLED TV along with Syva Subs. The sleek Syva colinear source loudspeaker combines with Syva Low and Syva Subs creates a full-spectrum audio performance. Syva delivers pristine clarity and wide coverage, while Syva Low enhances musical warmth with extended low-frequency response down to 40 Hz. For deep, impactful bass, Syva Sub pushes the boundaries further, reaching down to 27 Hz. Seamlessly integrated via LA X2i Series amplified controllers, this Syva system offers unmatched flexibility and precision for the project. Two SB10i subwoofers are installed at the rear of the room to capitalize on Trinnov’s waveforming feature.

Elsewhere in the living room, Levina AV has deployed products from the L-Acoustics Xi Series, including ultra-compact X4i, X4r, X6i and X8i loudspeakers to build an immersive soundstage for the customer.

“When L-Acoustics told me that RAL colours were available, I immediately pitched this idea to my customer and suggested that they instead make the speakers a statement piece, capitalising on the beautiful curves of the Syva,” he explains.

After some discussion, the couple opted for Syva and Xi speakers in traffic purple and iron grey, choosing furniture and accessories to complement the daring colour combination. While the colour pops and considered design create a bold, visually striking room, it was the audio quality of the finished project that truly blew the clients away.

“Literally, the first second of a song brought tears to the eyes of my client. It was a collection of great audio, volume, SPL which they never had before, and immersiveness that made them feel like they were actually back in the concert audience. They were floored by the sound and the emotional connection it made,” Claude explains.

The couple were also impressed by the sound dispersion. “The previous system had a very tight sweet spot for listening, but if they moved to the side of the room they would lose a lot of detail. Since the dispersion angle of the L-Acoustics speakers is so wide, they were quite amazed. They can stand in the kitchen, which is 15 feet off to the side of where they sit, and have just as good an experience.”

The impact of that first hearing was enhanced as, at the request of L-Acoustics, Claude had waited until everything was cued and tuned before turning it on. This level of service and support from L-Acoustics was another major win on the project.

“The pre-sales support from L-Acoustics was phenomenal. Everybody in the chain was very knowledgeable. This support extended through the sales process and peaked with system calibration. The theater of having a true professional from L-Acoustics, practicing their craft in front of the client, drove home the value and level of care put into the system.”

For the client, the conclusion of the project also marked the end of a difficult period.

“It was this awful chapter in their lives with the hurricanes, uplifting their life, moving to a new place, but with this system it was like, ‘okay, we're home again’. L-Acoustics have played a huge part in helping them connect with their new property and making it feel home,” concludes Claude.
