Hello!
I am currently a high school student working on a project to try to predict distance attenuation in a room using a LiDAR scan and microphone data of the user. Essentially the tool gets information about the users position in the room, the LiDAR scan of the room (converted to a mesh), data about the materials in the room and microphone data for the decibel level of the user. The tool then estimates how far the users voice would travel in the room. Currently, I am stuck deliberating on which tool to use to run the calculations. Most of the tools, such as ODEON, CATT, CadnaR and EASE are extremely expensive and I do not know whether they would be able to run the entire calculations. I would love some suggestions on what to do!
