I just wanted to put this out there. A friend of mine on another forum convinced me to try the JBL CBT70J-1 for my front 3 speakers. I replaced Klipsch RF7 v 3. I really liked the Klipsch. They moved to surround duty. I really like these new JBL speakers. Since they are professional speakers they aren't much to look at. They have many different mounting options. They come with an articulateing mount. With vertical and horizontal adjustment. The down side with these is that they don't dig very deep, 65ish Hz is about it. I have the optional bass modules on the front L & R. This takes them to 45 Hz.
I can produce REW measurements if wanted but don't have them on my phone right now.
I added led lights inside the tweeter array.

They look super cool with the leds. They’re high tech. They should look the part. :T

Now that they’re in, are they doing what you hoped they would?

Yes. I mostly did this in the beginning because I found a good deal on a used Seymour XD screen. My Klipsch speakers definitely wouldn't fit behind the screen. These fit after moving the screen forward 9-10 inches. This also made me move the projector back a few feet. I ran out of zoom with the larger screen size and slightly closer screen. Anyway I want really expecting to have a sonic upgrade, I even expected it to be worse. I'm glad I was wrong. These sound much better. More natural, larger sweet spot. Unless you are within a foot or two of the speakers they are hard to localize. The sound is pretty uniform no matter where I am in the room. I highly recommend these for home theater. A subwoofer is required with these however. Fantastic speakers.

My wife says they look mean with the LED lights on. She approves of these because they take so much less space than the old ones.

I have 5 now. I will get more as budget allows. Or if I can find some great deals.

This means that I will have lots of Klipsch speakers for sale.
