Pro-Ject DAC Box S2 + needs a calibration file ?

Hi guys,
I want to calibrate my stereo spakers with REW.
I will play audio file throught my Pc with Foobar and my usb DAC is the one in the title.
Here the LINK of the product.

My question is realated to REW ...
Befor starting ... Do I need to create a calibration file for this DAC or not?

No, you don't have to make a cal file. What are you using to capture the signal?

Hi John, thank you.
To capture I use a umik 1 usb mic.
The Project Dac converts the signal from my pc and send it (via analog RCA) to a stereo input of my AV Sinto (Marantz Cinema 40).

Ok, remember to select the UMIK as the input and load it's cal file.
