Phase Linearization Issue

I've been attempting to linearize the phase response of my speaker drivers while also eq'ing them using the following procedure:

1. Measure the speaker
2. Create a pure impulse response using the "generate measurement from filters" button in the EQ panel
3. Trace arithmetic ->(eq target)*(pure impulse) = eq and phase target
4. Trace arithmetic -> (EQ + phase target)/speaker = final impulse response

I thought this should leave me with an impulse response that can be convolved with the speaker to linearize its phase. The problem is that the resultant response has a phase that goes crazy on either side of 20 hz and 20 khz. I figured this could have been just a trivial artifact, but when I plugged the impulse response into my convolver the gain was so low I could barely hear with my amp turned all way up.

Is there a way to fix this phase and level issue and/or is there some kind of glitch that's causing this?
