Yes, I have 1' acoustic insulation behind the fabric on the wall. The acoustic cloud is mounted on channels so they can be easily repositioned if I move the front speakers.

I did all the work (except drywall and carpet). I did have my wife help me with a few things. It was an empty basement without any walls, etc.. when we started.
