I have only seen Dune which was excellent.. I will have to check out the rest..

How about you guys? Any thoughts?

We've only seen West Side Story in the theater with 2 of the grandkids. We all enjoyed it (my wife and I saw the orignal in the 60s and have that soundtrack, so we expected that we'd enjoy it). Same story as the original, different actors and better audio. Based on that, I don't think it has a chance for Best Picture, but I don't know anything about the other contenders.

Belfast is getting pushed on TV. Anyone watched?

I skipped Don't Look Up after my family watched it and said "meh."

I have Dune, need to watch it!

Coda won best picture.

Didn't see it live but saw it in the recap, the slap heard around the world ->> see here.

I’ve seen CODA, West Side Story and Dune. I’ve got Belfast, Licorice Pizza and King Richard in my queue- that order. CODA was a very good movie!

We only watched for about a half hour at the beginning last night and didn’t see Will Smith slap Chris Rock.

Coda won best picture!

Will have to see it.
