REW Beta Release OS X : EQ/ Filter Sets are not visible after saving

After measuring:
1. Open EQ
2. Create a bunch of entries (Control, Type, Frequency, Gain Q in the filters
3. Click the "save" icon
4. Add notes as per instructed
5. No save file interaction, just closes
6. Click the "Load filter set" icon
7. File dialogue opens. No filter sets are visable

If the file dialog doesn't appear when trying to save try restarting the mac, this seems to happen sometimes but there is no indication of why. Please check the log files in ~/Library/Logs/REW (or zip that folder and attach it here) to see if any errors were captured there, but that hasn't been the case on other reports.

This happens on 2 macs one on 10.7.5 and one on 10.13.6

The only thing In the logs is

Yes, works for me on 10.15.7. The details view message is expected on macOS.

Can you save other file types OK, e.g. mdat files?

oh yeah

I had DeFault Folder installed - I set it to ignore REW, and it saves it once, but then not again even if you make changes to the filters.

Quit REW, and reopen, it will save the filters, but again only the one time.

You can load filters over and over

Perhaps some kind of bug with Java?

Is DeFault Folder an app that does something with file dialogs?
Is this something that has just started happening with the latest V5.20 RC10?
Are any other save dialogs affected, saving mdat, or exporting measurements as text or exporting IR as WAV, for example?
