Odd random error message from REW

Just wanted to bring this to your attention, although it's probably nothing, I got this error from REW a couple of days ago:

REW was the front app and the main window was minimized. The display had gone to sleep and I hit the 'UP' arrow on the keyboard a couple of times to wake up the display and was greeted with the error dialog from REW (first section above). Running 10.14.6 on a Mac Mini, Core i7, 16 GB.

The AudioSystem getMixer method will throw that exception if it cannot find any audio mixers that match the requested mixer description. The list of mixer descriptions is retrieved from the AudioSystem class itself, so for the error to occur a mixer that had previously been declared as present has somehow disappeared. Perhaps an interface had been put to sleep by the OS? The same error came up on Windows a couple of times in 2020, in those cases a reboot fixed it.

That would make some sense as the monitors attached to the Mini have HDMI audio devices in them—although they were not the selected output device at the time. Anyway, not a big deal. Thanks again for all the hard work.
