NFL 2017 Season

In Thursday Night Football,
Dallas 38, Washington 14

The Chiefs have really been in a tailspin here lately. It’s been hard to watch what was once considered the Super Bowl favorites digress so quickly. We need to beat the Jets tomorrow and get some confidence back. GO CHIEFS!

As expected, Texans lost today against Tennessee, 24 to 13.

On Monday night, the Steelers beat the Bengals, 23-20.

Last night on Thursday Night Football, Atlanta beat New Orleans 20 to 17

Texans are so bad, you may want to ask, how bad are they?

Well, they can't even beat the 49's who were 2 and 10 prior to the start of the game.

Texans lost 26 - 16.

In Monday Night Football, Patriots lost to the Dolphins 27-20

In Thursday Night Football, Denver Broncos beat Indianapolis Colts 25 - 13.

Chiefs got a huge win last night to regain control of the AFC West. I’m hoping they’ve gotten things right again and can go into the playoffs on a hot streak.

I don't even know why I even pay attention to the Texans anymore.. Really, just sad..
They lost to the Jaguars 45 to 7..

In Monday Night Football,
Falcons 24, Buccaneers 21

There is a lot of buzz in regards to the sale of the Carolina Panthers since the present owner is leaving.. Should be interesting to see who ends up buying the franchise.

from nytimes,

Today we have a few NFL games on Saturday..

Colts vs Ravens
Vikings vs Packers

Ravens beat the Colts 23-16.
Vikings beat the Packers 16-0.

In Monday Night Football, the Eagles beat the Raiders, 19 to 10.

Also, on Sunday, not surprisingly, the Texans lost again. This time to the Steelers 34-6..

Some interesting news in regards to the last Sunday Night Football game..

per Yahoo,

"The 2017 NFL season will end a few hours early this year, as the league has decided to cancel its Sunday night game – the first time it has done so since 2006.

Instead of ending with a traditional night game, which usually features two playoff contenders, the season will wrap up with a heavier-than-usual afternoon slate of gridiron battles. The reason? Ratings.

Sunday, of course, is New Year’s Eve – and the way the playoff races have shaken out this year, there’s no matchup that has the high stakes the last game of the season usually offers. And with New Year’s Eve celebrations going on across the country, odds are few people would watch even if there was."

Patrick Mahomes will be making his first ever NFL start today against a tough Broncos defense. Most of our starters will be sitting this one out since it won’t affect our playoff seeding. He won’t have the assortment of weapons Alex Smith normally has but it should be exciting nonetheless. GO CHIEFS!

As expected, the Texans lost again! this time to the Colts 13 to 22..

We are tied for last place with the Colts in the AFC South.. Guess, it could be worse. We could be the browns. lol. ;)

Congrats to Patrick Mahomes on his first career regular season victory. The rookie made some mistakes but at times was dazzling and made some incredible throws. GO CHIEFS!

Yep, Chiefs vs Titans at Arrowhead! I’ll be there next Saturday. GO CHIEFS!

Sadly I won’t be attending the game today due to circumstances beyond my control. Bummer but I’ll be able to watch here at home. I’m not sure I’m comfortable with the line favoring the Chiefs by so much. I think the Chiefs win but I expect a close physical game. We’ll see which Alex Smith shows up and if the defense can stop the run? Having Demarco Murray out should help. GO CHIEFS!!

Sorry Jbrax, Titans won over the Chiefs 22-21..

As expected.....
