New User - No Out?

Hello,

I'm new to REW. I got a UMIK-2 and am currently trying to setup REW. I've gotten up to check levels in the configuration, but I am not getting anything out - It always stays at -95.99. Input from the UMIK does seem to be registered; if I make some noise I can see the response in the meters. I've tried both java and asio drivers, changing the sampling rate, and instead of using my Tascam Model 16, main PC outs, but the behaviour is always the same.

Wondering if anyone could help with what I might be missing here? Thanks.

well I gues the obvious question would be in the measure page did you click Next? the tones should then play if they are not, maybe post your setup and how it is all hooked up to the system..

Ohhh...! Well. I feel dumb now I was expecting the test tone to play on that page, particularly since there seemed to be a response from the mic.

hey great did it work now? and don't feel dumb alot to learn and we all probally been there

Yep if I click next I get a test tone as expected Now to finish the rest of the setup
