Life has had me really occupied these last 4 or 6 weeks and there is no sign of letting up. My g/f and I of now 3 years have decided to go down to one sight on the campground so this necessitated in finding a travel trailer with 1.5 bathrooms as we had a couple of close calls because we both suffer from IBS, hers much worse than mine. Found 3 trailers that might fit, one turned out to be too tight if we had our respective families visiting, the other I found out later is a model with that suffers from excessive frame flex and there is a class action lawsuit against teh company for that model. That was a close call as I had a hold deposit down on it that was later refunded as I told him I wasn't interested. The last one I was interested in was 1044km round trip to Niagra Falls. I ended up buying it as it checked off everything we were looking for in our trailer. Thankfully, the company offers free delivery and setup.

I spent 3 days packing up the old trailer last weekend and it was physically and emotionally tiring. I shed a lot of tears doing it as it was the trailer my late wife and I had together. Lots of memories, some not so good because that's when she was battling cancer at the time. This is the old trailer ready for pickup by the company that I purchased the new trailer from.

I also had to work with the campground owner to extend the length of the trailer bed to accommodate the new trailer. I found this little guy under one of the patio stones

I got back from the trailer yesterday. I arrived at the campground Tuesday noon, relevelled the gravel trailer bed in bands across the width of the bed based on measurements taken from a similar trailer of a friend of mine. I measured the distance between auto level jack posts and tires of another trailer similar to mine and raked across the width of bed plus a foot either side of these measurements. I did pretty well with that. The new trailer is in but I haven't had time to take pics of it as it isn't show ready. The company I purchased the unit from delivered it Thursday at 9:00am just like the salesman told me and they set it up and levelled it. They were a class act. I'm more or less moved in, but still have to set up the Monoprice Surround soundbar system ditching the little JBL sound bar that came with the trailer. On Friday, I moved about 1000lbs of patio stones and cinder blocks back under the trailer as well relevel the deck by myself. Two tall cans of beer in the evenings put me away as I was so tired from the work. My excuse for being such a lightweight is the alcohol were 7.1 and 6.1 % respectively. My g/f was a big help suggesting where I could place things as the storage setup is totally different than my previous trailer.

I ordered a **** ton of stuff from Amazon for the trailer starting with a hole saw kit, rca to 35mm (for the cassette deck) hdmi cable, 6 plug outlet adapter, a 6 plug extension cord to get power to the deck and DVD player. That was the important stuff. The other stuff included two toilet paper roll holders with storage, king size pillows, and vacuum bags for storage.

My purchases from Amazon

The following are just for installing the Monoprice Soundbar and I consider the 2nd most important purchases behind this one...
