Guys I have a cheapo projector for outside use but everytime I use it if find myself having to move it back and forth because it overfills the 100" screen or the screen sides aren't filled like 16:9 for example.
Also one side of the film is higher then the other side even when centered.

I thought I'd ask here since many own much better projectors to see if they all have this issue and what does yours have to take care of this?

Here Is an example.

No and if nothing has moved you shouldn’t either. In this case I’d assume it’s a lens adjustment that’s changing somehow.

I agree with JStewart it looks like a lens issue. I would check your settings and see if the projector has a lens shift setting. Since you state it is a entry level projector it will be a manual lens shift if it has one available and you would have an adjustment button on the projector base.

The other thing I would try would be to check your aspect ratio setting and make sure it is set for 16x9 image. Also avoid any keystone adjustments if you see them in setup menu as you can make things much worse by playing with keystone adjustments. Hope this helps.

With a cheapo projector you won't have many options to align it properly. It seems like you're looking for an easy solution. You should look into lifestyle projectors. They automatically adjust the picture so it's focused and keystoned. I'd recommend the JMGO N1. It's easy to adjust and automatically corrects the picture. Plus it has a built in speaker and smart TV features.
