Just starting out, be gentle. Assuming Geddes approach...

With REW,
Run sweeps with FR and FL. Revel F208
Run sweeps with R+L + Front Corner Sub
Do I "sub crawl" back center position for Sub 2 with Sub 3 in MLP?
I have miniDSP 2x4hd for the subs (monoliths 15" thx)

I'm a little lost obviously. Any help is greatful.

Yes. That video led me to this forum originally. I think I've found an answer/walk-through on the miniDSP website. I guess the placement of the 2nd/3rd subs isn't as critical as I was thinking. Thank you for responding.

Geddes calls the placement pseudo-random. It’s placement isn’t critical other than it needs to meet certain criteria. If the subs fall too close together from a wavelength standpoint they coherently couple. If they coherently couple then they are too close to activate modes in a new random pattern. So the modes in a room are fixed, but the placement of the LF source causes a specific random pattern to emerge. If you place two subwoofers too close together, the pattern of modes they excite will be too similar and you won’t get the benefit or as much spatial variance reduction.

also keep in mind that Geddes uses big full range mains. His setup has 5-6 LF sources, composeD of 3 subwoofer’s and 2-3 mains. If you are using normal mains that can’t run full range, you may find you need more LF sources.
