Netflix to Launch a New Movie Every Week During 2021

(January 14, 2021) With theaters reeling from the impacts of the SARs CoV-2 Pandemic, major streaming services, including Disney+ and HBO Max, have announced aggressive plans to premiere new movie content. Now, Netflix has joined the party, revealing its own plans to deliver subscribers new movie content… on a weekly basis. According to Netflix, stars such as DiCaprio, Bullock, The Rock, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Garner, Ryan Reynolds, and more will lead the charge, further strengthening the status of the world's largest streaming provider.

This year’s line-up will surprise and delight cinephiles across the globe with films from Award winning filmmakers, including Jane Campion (The Power of the Dog), Paolo Sorrentino (The Hand of God) and Adam McKay (Don’t Look Up). Netflix will bring you a new movie every week featuring the biggest stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Dwayne Johnson, Idris Elba, Meryl Streep, Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Gal Gadot, Dave Bautista, Naomi Watts, Jake Gyllenhaal, John David Washington and Octavia Spencer. And films from your favorite filmmakers like Zack Snyder, Nora Fingscheidt, Joe Wright, Antoine Fuqua, Shawn Levy, Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman and the directorial debuts from Halle Berry and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
 
This is good news. I hope the subscription price don't increase.
 
I agree but I strongly suspect they will increase.. :)
 
Interesting... looking forward to see how many of the 52 new movies will be as good as the new movies that come out at the theaters.

Sounds like we'll get a double dose of movies this year.
