Anyhow, really appreciate all of you that tuned in. Hobie is an amazingly friendly guy, as you could clearly see in the stream. And I'm a huge fan of his mission to bring quality to the masses without blowing up the wallet.

In another forum Hobie announced Dirac A.R.T. is close to ready to go for the HTP-1. He specifically said “We are still working on ART and it is close. We are happy with where the latest version is at and it just needs a polish.”

I wish these things didn’t take as long as they always seem to, but hey, a significant upgrade some 4 years or so so after it‘s initial release is pretty unheard of at the HTP-1’s price point.

Yes, this is exciting news! He's said that he's not planning on an HTP-2 but would rather continue to add features and enhancements to the HTP-1.

Hopefully, we'll see the addition of DTS-X Pro someday.
