SPRING TRAINING IS HERE!!!

I've got a ticket for O's vs Detroit... Sunday the 22nd at Detroit's ST park!

This could be a great year in Baltimore. It appears everyone is healthy (tho Jackson Holliday broke his hand a few days ago)... we found a legit closer to hold court until Felix Bautista returns from surgery in late season. We brought in Taylor Ward and Pete Alonso, so legit veteran power bats are in the lineup. And we have both Chris Bassitt and Shane Baz in the rotation, along with the return of a healthy Zach Eflin and Kyle Bradish. If Trevor Rogers continues on his #1 status as a SP, we could be dangerous.

@JBrax how are the Royals working out for the coming season?

I think we’ve got a shot at being pretty good. I’m not sure we can overtake Detroit but a wildcard spot should be a realistic expectation. Our pitching will be a strength and if a couple of our young bats improve (Carter Jensen and Jac Caglianone) the ceiling raises. It should be a fun year. The Orioles are loaded with bats and I’ve been high on them for a couple years. They need to take that next step.

You guys have your hands full with Detroit, but with the way pitchers fall apart these days, there's no guarantee Detroit is going to be as good as everyone thinks.

We might find ourselves at the trading deadline with Skubal being traded!

You don’t sound very high on Detroit?

They were 28-37 post all star break last year... basically fell into the playoffs on the last day (if I remember correctly). So, I think there's something to be said about that!

(sorry Detroit fans!)
