I’m considering new speaker cables and am curious if anyone has experience using REW to compare cable effects on phase angle.
Even if the cable effect on phase angle is measurable, would you except Dirac to correct for the cables along with everything else in the signal path?
Regardless of Dirac correction, is it better to start with the most accurate cables so Dirac has less distortion to correct?
If Dirac can reasonably compensate for the cables, then much of the physics, science, and pseudoscience behind cable becomes less important.
Thank you.
