Measurement calibration house curve

Do many people use a house curve, o saw a video that when a frequency is flat it can sound louder due to room modes but doesn’t rew correct them

It’s fairly common for people’s room response to have something of a downward slope from the low frequencies to the highs, yes. Can’t speak to the content of the video, we’d have to see it.
