Looking To Replace DVDO Edge Green

Hello Everyone,
I've had the Edge Greem for years in a very basic setup: HDMI video out to my BenQ short-throw projector (HD, not 4K) and audio goes optical out to my old sound base from zvox. I am upgrading in pieces and looking for advice on how to replace the Edge Green. I am planning to upgrade the projector to a 4k one at the same time. DVDO makes the iscan mini I can add on fto the Edge Green or 4k video enhancements, but I want to replace instead of buying an add-on because the switching isn't so good anymore- I typically have to turn off the Edge Green and then turn it back on before I see anything. I do not want a single a/v receiver, don't need 16 channels, atmos etc- I'm fine with 5.1 for now and plan to move up to 7.1 or 7.2 later. But in short, the main issue for me is the ease of switching as I'm sure the picture controls will be fine, and I can probably try out and add the iscan mini later if needed. The Outlaw Audio 976 for about $1K catches my interest right now but any other recommendations would be much appreciated!

Maybe look into the HD Fury stuff? What exactly did the Edge do for you? Just the switching? Then look into HDFury or something similar.

My only exposure to a DVDO product was for a review years ago at HTS.
