(November 7, 2025) Australian speaker maker Krix has unveiled its new Evara Range, a compact, lifestyle-friendly duo designed to deliver big-system excitement from smaller, room-friendly cabinets. The new line includes the Equinox Evara bookshelf speaker and the Seismix 1 Evara subwoofer, each combining modern design touches with the brand’s unmistakably muscular sound signature.

It’s a move that blends Krix’s classic “live sound at home” philosophy with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Both models feature smoothly curved edges, magnetically attached grilles, and a choice of five stylish finishes: Studio White, Black, Navy, Green, and Charcoal. Together, they give the Evara Range enough visual flexibility to look right at home in anything from minimalist studios to modern living spaces.

And while they might look fresh and refined, make no mistake, these are still all Krix under the hood.

The Equinox Evara is a two-way design featuring a 5" doped paper cone mid-bass driver paired with a 26 mm dual-concentric diaphragm tweeter with a waveguide center plug, engineered to produce clean, open mids and an airy top end. The doped paper cone uses a fine polymer coating to damp unwanted vibrations and preserve the natural tone of the paper diaphragm, helping to balance warmth and precision. Sensitivity is rated at 88 dB, with 120 watts RMS power handling and a 6-ohm impedance, meaning they’ll sing beautifully from most quality integrated amplifiers while still rewarding higher-end systems. Frequency response extends from 45 Hz to 40 kHz, proof that Krix’s smallest hi-fi speaker still packs a broad dynamic range.

Inside, the rear-vented bass reflex cabinet helps the compact design deliver impressive low-end weight to sound. Each speaker weighs around 13 lbs and stands just under 13" tall, making it one of the most capable small monitors in Krix’s lineup.

For those who crave a little more authority down low, the Seismix 1 Evara is matched to bring the thunder. This powered subwoofer employs an 8" doped paper cone driver driven by a 350-watt RMS internal amplifier, delivering deep, agile bass from 25 Hz to 200 Hz with a maximum output of 116 dB. At roughly 24 pounds, it’s compact but potent, designed to integrate seamlessly into small to medium rooms.

The amplifier module features active line-level inputs, adjustable phase, and continuously variable crossover and volume controls, giving users real-world tuning flexibility. Its design shares the same color palette and rounded-edge cabinetry as the Equinox Evara, creating a matched, modern pairing for music or cinematic setups.

What makes the Evara Range stand out is how it combines genuine engineering chops with everyday usability. Krix’s designers have carefully balanced cabinet volume, driver size, and crossover tuning to create a compact package that, according to the company, doesn’t sound small. It's billed to deliver a high-energy soundstage that punches far above its physical footprint.

Availability begins November 7, 2025, in Australia, with international distributors to follow.
