(May 9, 2022) Klipsch recently launched a 2.1 speaker system that's a perfect match for home office and gaming rig settings. The ProMedia Heritage 2.1 multimedia speaker system stays true to design elements found across the company's Heritage Wireless series of speakers, blending healthy acoustic output with a classic, eye-catching design.

Klipsch says its latest trio of speakers benefits from in-house audio technologies and a performance-first engineering philosophy. The system's stereo pair of 35 watt powered speakers carry single 4” long-throw woofers and 1” polymer compression drivers on Tractrix horns, a tweeter design that's been a driving force behind the precise and efficient Klipsch sound for decades. And the rear-ported sub module features an 8" driver paired with a 100 watt amplifier for added low-end impact. Overall output is factory specified to range from 29Hz to 20kHz, but low-end capabilities will certainly be influenced by room size; your mileage may vary.

The entire system is crafted with ease of use in mind, starting with a powered speaker design that eliminates the need for external amplification. Onboard Bluetooth technology allows for wireless streaming from any Bluetooth enabled computer, smart phone, tablet, or device, and a standard RCA input and RCA to 3.5mm auxiliary cable allow for plug-and-play use. Klipsch even includes a wireless remote for control over input, volume, and sound mode selection.

The Klipsch ProMedia Heritage 2.1 multimedia speaker system comes in two real wood finishes — black ash or walnut. Both versions can be purchased now at Klipsch.com (US MSRP $349) and Costco (US MSRP $239.99 Costco member price).
