It should pick the highest your system supports by default, as Todd said 4k HDR is the highest if it's available

I like the fact they have a projector centric version of 4K. Two projectors back (my first 4K), issues with HDR drove me to the edge. I wish I’d had 4K (no HDR) on hand!

My 97" Sony seems to do really well with HDR. It's the brightest I've experienced with HDR thus far. I'm pretty sure I'm glad I'm out of the projector club now.
