Hi John,
I'am on OSX Sequoia 15.7.1 with REW V5.40 Beta 103.
I do have a file with 166 measurements, when I try to switch panel or select Overlays it get stuck and I have to forcely close it.
Tried also with beta 101, same behavior.

When REW is installed there is a step to specify the memory to allocate, it you already allocated 4 GB that way you can try setting a larger figure in the vmoptions file.

On my machine I have already set during the install the max memory that is 3GB. Do you advice to set a larger figure editing the vmoptions file?

Hi John, Hi have set also 6GB into the vmoptions file, but it still freeze when I change panel in the Overlays mode. From activity monitor I can see REW is using 2.65GB.
Tried with the V5.31.3 and even with all the traces selected changing panels is quite smooth.

Not sure if it is related to this specific file, but when closing REW, it takes almost two minutes to save preferences and close.

Can you make the file available somewhere? Also please use the option to generate a diagnostics file in the Help menu and attach that file.

When i should generate the dignostics file, when it get stuck or when I re open REW?

I'm not asking for the mdat file to be shared publicly. You can send a link to feedback@roomeqwizard.com, or the file itself if it zips to a manageable size. Generate the diagnostic file after reopening REW.

Maybe related: 103 REW also gets stuck here with only 30 or so measurements open. M4 Mac. When I try to align 2 measurements and try to move frequency marker but couldn’t for example.
Edit: But there was no error message…
