I am trying to import a lspcad convolution impulse .txt file into REW and it does not show impulse plot
Notes show < 139 values added, 0hz to 1hz>

I am not sure what the problem could be
Same .txt files opens in praxis

Thanks for any help

Phil

REW doesn't recognise the content as an impulse response so it tries to import it as a frequency response. If you share an example file I'll see if I can get REW to recognise it.

Thank You John - that would be brilliant!

I have attached 2 files - emulator is derived from the emulator function in lspcad - REW says no data for that one and does not open
The other file is derived from the individual circuit to that driver and that opens but does not display anything

They are both from the same crossover

The emulator output isn't much use, it is just a list of numbers so could be anything. The impulse file is OK though, I have added support for that for the next build:

Super ... thanks John !

Interstingly a buddy converted both files to wav using Matlab

He did say he had to rescale

Oops ... The plot above looks like a transfer function rather than an impulse file .. is that correct

That's the frequency response of the IR. I have added support for the emulator files as well, but REW will ask for the sample rate when importing them since that cannot be determined from the file.

Sorry if this is a really dumb question
the emulator curve above appears to represent the transfer function but a different scale. See transfer function file below (understand scale may be a lack of info ) - what I was hoping to do was show the impulse plot in REW the same as the file below and export as a wav file which I understand you can do with an REW impulse file
BTW I realize the first impulse file actually included the driver measurements so sorry about that

cheers

Of course, REW uses the impulse response to generate the response, the IR itself is on another graph:

Super

Thanks very much for this
