Looks like another hurricane is coming toward the U.S.

No way... seriously?

yeah, Irma and right behind is Jose (although that one is just starting)..

Hurricane Irma strengthens to category 3 storm

Yeah...just great news.

The various computer models showing it going toward the Eastern Coast instead of the Gulf. Of course this is still too early to tell but something to keep an eye on for sure.

figures. We are sticking out here like a sore thumb.......

Well, it is still too early to know exactly where it is going..

Computer models are just that, just models..

It could go anywhere really.. Time will tell.

Surely it wont go to Texas!

Let's hope it doesn't.. We had enough, can't take anymore..

Florida has a state of emergency now..

Hurricane Irma is now a Cat 5..

Folks who are in southern part of Florida should start preparing now if not already..

Florida governor asking folks to evacuate...

Hey Florida members: this looks like a super dangerous one. Hope you and your loved ones can get out of its path and stay safe!

Wow. Hard to believe the US might be in line for a serious 1-2 punch.

This would be very damaging to the US economy if this does become as bad as they say. There are fears already that the hurricain that is behind Irma may also be bad.

Stay safe people, get out of its path before it gets closer. Belongings can be replaced lives can not.

If it stays a Cat 5 hurricane when it hits Florida, it will be devastating to wherever it lands. Obviously, it would be too late to leave at that point so best to move away north as much as possible now... Better safe than sorry.

The above doesn't look good.. I would highly recommend folks evacuate.

Yikes. Florida is basically at sea level anyway. Someone needs to figure out a way to jack the entire state up about 30 feet higher!

Here is something you don't see often..

Delta flight 431 flew into Puerto Rico while the hurricane was heading toward Puerto Rico to take passengers out of the region.

It used the path in between the rain bands to leave Puerto Rico..

This should be a movie..

More details here...

Georgia evacuating coastal areas in the state.

From yahoo,

"Georgia's governor on Thursday ordered the state's nearly 540,000 coastal residents to evacuate inland ahead of Hurricane Irma as emergency officials warned the storm still had the potential to strike as a major hurricane, something the Georgia coast hasn't seen in more than a century."

Yeah, I live in Tallahassee, really hoping this thing veers towards the Atlantic as opposed to the Gulf. T-Town is known for its abundance of trees. The last one in 1987 was much smaller and was devastating. I hired 10 men for that one. My brother and I cut up trees all day long for 30 straight days. It seemed endless. This one looks to be a much stronger storm. Can't even begin to imagine what Tallahassee would look like if it comes here.

Looks like it's heading right up the middle of Florida. Maybe it won't be so bad once it gets up to the northern area.

Folks in Florida should really evacuate..

To give some perspective, check this out..

Man ... I sure hope this thing doesn't nip the tip of Florida and head into the Gulf. It seems like it might be as BIG as the entire Gulf of Mexico.

Yeah, definitely something to be evacuated for that is for sure.
