How Useful Is - Align Phase at Cursor?

Hi,

I watched a YouTube video that demonstrated the 'align phase at cursor' feature. My first
impression was this was the ideal tool to time align my active speakers at their crossover
point. But then the video went onto say this tool is a best guess or estimate.

Thoughts anyone?

Align phase at cursor minimises the summed weighted absolute phase error between the responses in a one octave span centred on the cursor.
