Hi All,
I’m fairly new to the AV NIRVANA forums but have been involved in the audio/videophile community for longer than I care to remember.
My audio journey began in the 1970s at Greenfield Sound in Portland Oregon where I discovered electrostatic speakers. My first set, Kloss Model Ones, were monsters in size and the sound they produced was just glorious.
Many years later I discovered the exploding home video market that led to my first home theater in 1986. The Novabeam Model 100 was a CRT projector with a fixed focus length and a blinding 175 lumens of output. Mated to a 100 inch Stewart rear projection screen my first home theater was born.
Throughout the years I’ve enjoyed many amazing audio and video systems and continue to enjoy this amazing hobby. We are all so lucky to live in a time when these systems are within our reach and incredible resources such as AV NIRVANA exist to allow us to continue to pursue our passion.
