Hi, I'm Jon from Worcester, UK, and work as a electronics design engineer, specialising in power conversion. I've been an audio enthusiast for as long as I can remember building power amps and speakers (car + HiFi) for fun. I don't tend to find the time for listening any more so my system has moved to a definite HT focus. My now vintage Adire Audio Tempest (MK1) sub is still going going strong, although it's got an amp upgrade on the project shelf and a possible cabinet upgrade to move to ported. I want to get back into using REW, I've acquired a UMIC-1 and a Behringer DSP1124P to have a play with. so hope to get some time over the next few weeks. I'm running a full Acoustic Energy AE100 series surround system from a Sony ES receiver, all a bit vintage now, but I've seen no need to change anything major as I've been reasonably happy. So sub upgrade and a general response/health check for the speakers are in order this year, I might look into super tweeters to add that sparkle, but then again it might just be the inevitable of me getting old...

Welcome back to REW Jon! :T

15 years is a long time Jon... and we are glad to have you back with us.

Do you remember the BFD Guide for the 1124?
