hello from germany.
i´m an audio and home cinema enthusiast since the 80´s.
my first steps were made with a Schneider integratet system when i was 14.
After getting a apprenticeship in a electrician workshop i spend most of my money in audio equipment.
It all startet with a Kenwood Basic M2 that is still in work für my Surround speakers.
Then i started building up a pair of Dynaudio Axis 5, they even work today as my main speakers.
Since the 80´s there are many units passing my way, Denon PRA-1100 Preamp, AVM Preamp, Sony TA-E1000ESD, TA-E2000ESD and also a TA-E9000, Sansui BA-3000 Amp, Dual CS635 phono, different HiFi Beta and HiFi VHS recorders, a Sony MDP Laserdiskplayer, a RCF Beamer and so on........
Today my AV Preamp is a Marantz AV7005, but i still have ordered a SR7015 as a replacement.
My system was growing and today i have a TA-N80 as main amp, a TA-N55 in mono bridged for Center and another one for the Subwoofer.
Most of my speakers are DIY, only the front height´s are Elac Cinema and the Front Ceiling are Monacor 2-way.
For sat-tv i use a VU+ and a Marantz UD-6007 for all disc´s, for streaming a apple TV4k and a fire TV, and a Thorens TD320 with Audio Technica MC System on a Thorens MC Pre-Pre for vinyl records.
Some headphones are also mine, where a Stax SR Lambda Pro with Stax amp is my absolute highlight! AKG K280, K270, Bose Quiet comfort are fine but not to compare to the stax.
With REW i hope i can set up my system even better than it is done today, even when i´m still very happy with my setup.
