Hello from Western Kentucky

Hello folks. My name is Phil and I am from the Western Kentucky area. As you can guess, I am a BIG University of KY BB fan. Go Big Blue! Anyways, I am much more of a music guy. Also prefer the warmer British sound signature. That is, I feel as though the British sound is better musically speaking. Hence, I am a musician and music is my passion. So much so it is essential to my very well being. Thanks!

Welcome again Phil... glad to have you with us. If you are going to be a fan of the best basketball team in the U.S.... there is no better school than Kentucky. They are awesome! They are like Bama in football... a force to reckon with. Roll Tide of course! Our basketball team... well... okay... so what basketball team... pitiful. Not sure how we can get such a great football coach and cannot get a great basketball coach... doesn't make sense, but I suppose it's all about the priorities of the the big boys in the power seats.

Thanks so much Sonnie. Really like how things are here. I agree in that KY is a great BB program. Even the KY football team is getting better. But, in KY it is all about BB. Well, horses too albeit the KY Derby.........LOL!!!!! Looking forward to learning and sharing here. Lots of good info here as well. It is most appreciated!

I agree that Bama usually gives KY fits most of the time. The SEC is getting stronger in spite of what is said. When it comes to football, Bama is second to none. But, KY is getting better at football. About time too.....LOL!!!!!!

Hmmm... I would love to know we had something brewing in the basketball arena, but I would not watch it. My sports is strictly football... college then NFL. I don't care much for anything else. I use to watch NASCAR, but don't even care for that anymore. Use to keep up with MLB years ago, but quit watching it too. Strictly football now. I never have cared for basketball.

Hello there Jack very nice to meet you. I am right across the mighty Ohio River from Evansville, IN. Consider Evansville my home gives it is less than 10 miles away. I am also not too far from Owensboro, KY where Tyler Acoustics is located. How far are you from Evansville if you don't mind me asking?

I must have crossed that river a thousand times and it still amazes me that the twin bridges still hold up, never enough money to renew them. So yes we are very close, good to make your acquaintance.

Wow Jack you are right across the river from me. Have very close friend that live on the SE side. I agree that the twin bridges are in dire need of replacement. It won't be soon enough as far as I am concerned. Good to see someone so close.
