Hi guys.
Just wanted to say hello and show my appreciation for all the shared information here.
I finally got my UMIK-1 microphone and run my first test so I'm still a big noob whit all this. And it appears that I also have a lot of work tuning my setup :-)
I started my first steps in Home Theater by buying a Boston Acoustics MCS100 5.1 system together with a Yamaha RX-V663 which honestly wasn't great. But hey ... you gotta start somewhere.
I now own a Denon AVR-X2200W with Dali Zensor 1's + Vokal and a Dali Sub E-9F for a 5.1 setup. I recently added two Dali Alteco C-1's for Dolby Atmos.
The plan is to get some proper subs, preferably 2 from SVS for example, a new receiver that can handle 5.2.4. and two additional atmos speakers.
I have to keep aesthetic into mind so 7.1 or height speakers is unfortunately no option for now.
Anyway, glad to be a member here and looking forward learning a lot from you all.
Grtz.
