I'm Jake from Mead, Ne. I am 42 years old. I am an ASE Certified Master Technician. I have been into audio as long as I can remember. I purchased my first hi-fi system in 6th grade. It was a Fisher 15 inch tower system. Once I was old enough to drive I got into car audio and still am. I build all of my own car sub boxes and have built my first home sub box recently. I really enjoy my 7.4.2 theater setup and am always tweaking things and trying to make improvements. Although my wife hates it when I tweak stuff during a movie. I am hoping to get a microphone for Christmas and am looking forward to using REW. I am mostly self taught. I have many questions but don't want to ask the questions that have already been answered in other places on this forum. There is an insane amount of information on this sight. I am excited to learn the proper way do do things, instead of just winging it.

I started in the 12V world, miss it sometimes. Enjoy home audio much more, though. Welcome!

Welcome to the Forum, Jake!

Regards,
Wayne

Hi Jake... glad to have you with us.

I use to love to build sub boxes for my vehicles... but that was 15-20 years ago... now I've gotten lazy.

You'll love tinkering with REW, not only in your home, but it is very useful in the vehicle as well.

Welcome to AV NIRVANA Jake!
