Have zone issue with Denon X3300W any advice?

I have a GoldenEar soundbar and sub hooked up to it. Why is zone two always on? When I turn the receiver on zone 1 turns on and processes. When I turn it off, zone 1 turns off, and the display dims but shows zone 2 on and the AVR doesn’t shut all the way down? Is there some setting I accidentally hit and need to turn off? It didn’t use to do this.

Have you tried opening the HEOS app and turning off zone 2?

This AVR doesn’t have HEOS built in.

You must have inadvertently activated zone 2 on the remote, so power down on 1 powers up 2?

You my friend have solved my problem of months. It seems simple but it still took me a few try’s with those directions to get it right. Thanks. It’s a weird setup. Between the zone one button and zone two button and the power button. But it’s now back to normal. Hit power zone one on, hit power zone one off.

Awesome! I thought that might be the problem... I had a dissimilar zone issue that was related to a remote (I think it was a Pioneer receiver). Drove me nuts.

There’s probably a menu setting that disables zone 2 altogether. But, I’m guessing you probably have looked through the menus?
