Hello,
My name isn't really Woogy. It's a nickname bestowed upon me by friends many years ago due to the fact, if I drank too much bourbon (and I used to), I would go red and blotchy, just like the Woogy character from the film 'there's something about Mary'.
I am a very keen, albeit very amateur, AV enthusiast. I have a chronic, progressive muscle wasting condition for which there is no treatment or cure and so this is how I justify the money I spend on my AV gear. It's because I'm home all day with it.
My most recent purchase was a Sony XR55A90J. I wish I could accommodate a 65" but, if I did, I think my wife would leave me.
I have a PS5, a Panasonic UB820, 5.2.2 Jamo speaker set-up. I would love a 5.2.4 but, our living room already looks like I've let a firing squad practise in it with all the plaster marks I've yet to manage have re-painted due to my experimenting with speaker placement. So, I have to tread carefully.
I'm currently waiting to purchase a new receiver.
I am looking forward to becoming an active member of the forum and learning from you all.
Thank you for reading.
