Hi everyone

Looking for help

I have fully active klipsch La Scala II's speakers running of a xilica XP4080

Recently I have moved rooms so the original settings that the crossover have loaded don't work in the new room, I have taken sweeps of all six drivers using REW but I'm now lost as to how to create PEQs and load them into my Xilica it's well over my head

Is there anyone that can help me by looking at the sweeps and converting them to PEQs to be uploaded to my Xilica

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated

I'm happy to pay for this service,

Cheers
Deano

The UR22C connects to the computer via its USB cable. You need an XLR microphone cable to connect the mic to one of the UR22C mic inputs and phantom power needs to be turned on to power the mic.

Yes, use one of the outputs to connect to the system being measured. Make sure the mix knob is turned all the way to DAW to disable input monitoring.

I just started reading the REW guide. i have a few questions with starting the set up.

I am using windows 11

1. Under the microphone properties/level, when I set my microphone level to 81%, it puts me at +15 dB. This number is not shown on the guide and I want to verify if this would be correct in using windows 11?

2. Under the HDMI output properties/enhancements tab, I do not have a tab that says enhancements. I’m assuming there’s not another location where I should be accessing this to make sure the enhancements are turned off?

3. Under speaker configurations, I have the option to choose Dolby Atmos surroundsound. I am currently running a 7.2.4 system. I know in the guide it shows to select 7.1 system, but I’m assuming with this upgrade on windows 11 I should select the Dolby Atmos system for my set up?

One more question. What is the most current version of the The Getting Started with REW Step-by-Step Guide?

The author, AustinJerry, no longer supports that document or others that he created. His explanation (from Dec 2022) for dropping them can be found here and here.

However his last (current) version of his doc remains on dropbox (Rev 6.5 12/31/2022). I believe most of what is in that doc is still valid with the latest REW version.

REW doesn't directly support Atmos height channels, so I would select the 7.1 system. However you can use functions within REW to measure them. The Dolby Atmos and REW thread discuses this and the Dolby Atmos Height Channels Measurement & Calibration with REW youtube video explains how it is done and links to the files you would need.

I don't use Windows 11, so I can't help with that.
