I've been trying for about 2 hours to get a straight line from pure Pink noise in the latest REW, but I can't get it to work.
First I tried import audio data but it slopes down and I can't find a way to correct that slope.
Then I tried RTA and now get a dip in the high frequencies. I tried two pink noises, one generated in REW.
I'm assuming it's some setting, but which?..🤔

If you drag the pink noise file onto the RTA with the RTA in a fractional octave mode you will get a flat line, but note that:

- The mic cal file will be applied, so you would need to clear the cal file first to remove its effects
- Random pink noise will show variations, the longer the file that you average the more those will reduce.

It was the mic cal file 😁
I added that years ago and totally forgot about it, thank you!!

Is it possible to get a similar plot using "Import audio data"? It gives a more accurate graph it seems.
In my case I want to compare the output of amplifiers. I could of course use white noise or a tone sweep but have already made the recordings...
If not I've already figured I can add a tilt filter to the recordings to get it straight.

Ok, I used a tilt correction and then used the import audio data.
A nice smooth comparison, success 😁
