What purchases have you made that are everything you expected and just plain make life better that are not AV?

i just bought a Graco Magnum X5 paint sprayer to paint my new fence and the house. First off, Amazon is amazing. I ordered it Friday night late and it showed up on Sunday around 1pm. The sprayer itself is great as well. It is an airless sprayer and it does a fine job. It was easy to set up and easy to clean. It went through a gallon of paint in no time, making a perfect spray. It is easy to handle and a well thought out design.

And, of course, it is another power tool.:jump:

A whole bunch of DeWalt 20v cordless tools with the 5.0mh lithium batteries that last forever and a day.... we are talking circular saw, jigsaw, impact driver, grease gun, and several others. Having these in the cordless version where they actually work is priceless while working on our cabin.

And then there is my new 17" Asus laptop... with functionality like none other... just wonderful. Lightning fast with this new 500GB Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (Read 3200MB/s - Write 1900MB/s) and a fine fine fine screen (calibrated of course). Lovin' it!

my GoPro, Ive used the thing to death and it always works. Ive taken it on a long 9 day motorcycle trip and short ones, mounted it on my bike in every conceivable location and used it on my honeymoon in the Bahamas including scuba diving off the south side of the island. I have gotten some of the best videos Ive ever taken using it. Ironically its the lowest cost unit they sell in there lineup.

I have a Husqvarna 359 XT chainsaw with a 24" bar that I bought over 20 years ago. It's a commercial saw that I use mainly to cut up firewood now days (used to do tree work before I became a nurse). We have such big trees here in T-Town, I needed a saw big enough to handle them. It's never been in the shop except to change the sprocket when the chain wears out. If you don't know, always change that when you get a new chain because the two mesh together as they wear. A new chain wont match the used sprocket & will cause it to wear out faster. I'm using it quite a bit now that I cutting trees for the saw mill. It's truly nice to have a saw you can depend on.

My Keurig Coffee Maker. Makes a coffee in a jiffy and lord knows I can't do without a coffee first thing in the morning. On top of that a cup of starbucks in the Keurig only runs me about 40 cents as apposed to a cup at the franchise store which runs 2 bucks. Money in the bank.
