Headphone enthusiasts get special treatment. The DAC-Z10’s auto-sensing amplifier stage detects impedance and adjusts gain to match, delivering up to one watt of power into both 16-ohm and 32-ohm loads. That makes it equally comfortable with demanding planar magnetics and efficient in-ear monitors, all without introducing audible distortion.

On the connectivity side, the DAC-Z10 reads like a digital dream. Inputs include USB Audio, dual coaxial, dual optical, I2S, AES/EBU, and HDMI ARC/eARC, with each input electrically isolated to prevent ground loop noise. A multi-core processor handles DSD512 Native and PCM 768 kHz/32-bit lossless playback, while the HDMI I2S input offers eight selectable configurations for compatibility across multiple source devices.

Wireless fans aren’t left out either. The Qualcomm QCC5125 module brings high-resolution Bluetooth streaming with strong signal integrity even from smartphones and tablets, ensuring the DAC-Z10 sounds excellent whether tethered or untethered.
