This AVR is definitely "vintage" at this point, but still a great machine for older analog and early digital sources.
I kept it for many years in order to still be able to decode Dolby Digital audio soundtracks on my old laserdiscs because it has an RF-AC3 demodulator built-in.
In order to make room in my AV rack, something had to go. So, I found a small outboard RF/AC3 demodulator for my system so I could go ahead and pull this receiver out and consolidate all my sources onto my new generation AV Receiver.
Would like to find a good home for this unit, which has been well loved and still works great, and has the famous Elite rosewood side panels. For anyone out there that may still be into your vintage LD collection like me, this is one of the best integrated AC3 options that Pioneer made.
Otherwise, would be a great unit for an alternate room like a basement, garage, den, office, etc. for FM/AM, CD, MD, LP, tape deck, or vintage DVD and S-VHS sources.
Comes with the original box, user manual, and fancy universal programmable remote control.
