I have been trying since launch day in November but no luck.

How did you manage to get one?

A place called Vintage Stock had 4 of the disk version in a bundle package.

Very nice. I have been trying sony direct as well as the various stores (best buy, target, walmart), never managed to get the item in the queue.

I was able to get an extra controller and the PS5 charger from sony direct.

Only thing missing for me now is the actual PS5 disk version..

I guess, I will have to wait till summer or next Christmas when more will be in stock where I can just walk in and get one. :)

I’ve had it in my cart on several occasions and gotten as far as processing payment only to be disappointed. I’m currently setting it up. Check out the download speed!

Nice. I was only able to get it to cart once but then it sold out. Mostly, I got disappointment after disappointment whenever the various retailer queues started.

I will look again but will wait till summer time or later once more are in stock.

It was a grind of mostly disappointment but finally paid off. I would forgo online and occasionally check in store. Beautiful graphics and the new controller is amazing.

Yeah, online is a pain since you are fighting against all of the bots.

Very nice. Happy you were able to get and can now enjoy! :)

I can't believe how hard it is to get a PS5 even now, few months past launch day in November..

When the PS4 came out, I just waited maybe 2 weeks and just walked in and got one..

Now, it is a different story..

Really... the guys at the shop were talking about how difficult it is to get one. Maybe COVID has affected production... like many other things.

Difficult would be an understatement. Alabama has a better chance of winning the championship.

Well, 3.4 million units have been sold so far world wide per the latest news. And this is a record, surpassing the PS4 sales figures.

Demand is way way way higher and they just can't keep up.

I am sure covid has some issues within the supply chain.

Anybody else able to snag one of these unicorns?

I wish but I kind of gave up. Will wait till later in the summer to resume my hunt. :)

I don’t know if you have GameStop’s in your area but some are having success going into the stores and purchasing. They’re not listing online it’s only for in store purchase.

Jeff-- what's your take on the console? How's that call of duty game?

I love it. The controller is spectacular. Loading times are amazing. Graphics and HDR are truly next gen.

We have several gamestop stores nearby but unfortunately, they all don't have any stock or at least whenever I come by and ask, they say that. lol..

Online is a lot harder competing against the bots..

I will just have to wait..

That's great to hear!

I'm tempted... I might wait a year (both of my daughters will be in college by that point). I have serious concerns about the digital abyss I'll discover if I let the PS5 into my home. ;-)
