Hi, everyone, long time member, very infrequent poster, just wanted to shares some photos of my completed HT/listening room. Feel very blessed to have this opportunity although dimensionally not ideal, 15' W X 16' L X 8' H, I've worked very hard to overcome to it's inherent limitations. The room has a 110" Elite screen Cine tension powered screen, a calibrated Epson 5040 UB projector, Yamaha CX-A5100 preamp, Yamaha MX-A5000 matching amp, Oppo UDP-203 4K player, 3 Octane powered seats, Advance Buttkicker under the middle seat with it's own 1K watt amplifier, 7.2.4 surround system, powered by GoldenEar Triton Reference mains, Super Center XXL center channel speaker, 4 Super Sat 3 surround and rear surround speakers, 4 Invisa 525 speakers in the ceiling along with Dynamat Dynaboxes. 5/8" drywall through out, resilient channel on adjoining wall to the bedroom, solid core door with acoustical weather stripping. HUE lighting. I have a 55" Panasonic Plasma TV sitting on the stand with a canvas cover that has acoustical felt glued to the inside of if in order to minimize reflections while listening to music. I had the room acoustically measured by Acoustic Frontiers who noted several issues with low end frequency response, excessive reverb, abnormal reflections, abnormal mid and high frequency response, consequently, the room has been comprehensively acoustically treated courtesy of GIK Acoustics. REW tracings post treatment reveals a flatter frequency response, improved RT, waterfall and spectogram graphs. I also used the Dspeaker unit to tame the low end as well as going into the Yamaha editor and adjusted the subwoofer low frequency bands under manual mode. Overall, very happy with the results for both music and HT.
