It would be interesting to implement the off-axis response functionality with the use of a polar graph through a collection of responses carried out in a range of angles such as -90 ° + 90 ° at 10 ° intervals.
Having drawn 19 response curves, using a cursor we could move in frequency and update the polar graph. The best would be to be able to carry out all the measurements automatically including the
rotation of the diffuser through the use of a rotor controlled by the REW software.
In the Arta Hardware & Tools manual there is an example of hardware to realize the rotation of the diffuser with respect to the position of the microphone.
