Hi, I'm having trouble setting up or configuring my REW V5.40 beta 83 properly — maybe someone can give me a hand?
I’m using a Soundcard Evo 8 and four independent XLR microphones (SoundID Reference).
I want to use my Marantz as the sound source via HDMI.
My goal is to measure four positions in the room simultaneously with one sweep — for example, I want to sweep the front left speaker and measure the response at four different locations at the same time.
If I use the Java Driver option, I can select my Marantz as the output device and the Evo 8 as the input device, but only one input at a time. Even with the “Multiple Inputs” box ticked, the only options I get are L or R — no additional input channels.
If I use ASIO, the Marantz doesn’t appear as an available output device. If I try to use ASIO4ALL v2, REW crashes.
However, if I select Audient USB Audio ASIO Driver under ASIO Device, I can access all four microphone inputs (mic 1 to mic 4), which is great — but I don’t want the Evo 8 to be used as the output device for playback.
Does anyone have experience with the Evo 8 audio interface who can help? Or is there a known limitation with this interface for multi-mic measurement setups?
Thanks in advance!
