Audient ID44
I have been around the sun on this rabbit hole and hoping for some straightforward advice.

I have a small home studio - recording/mixing vocals and guitars.

I have a pair of yamaha hs5’s and a subwoofer. The room is 13x17 9high and well treated.

I have done extensive measurements on REW.

I want to use these filters (convolution FIR types). Systemwide on my windows 11 computer.

Instead of just using the filters only in pro tools on fabfilter. I want to use a good convoler type reverb not equalizer apo systemwide. By inserting a piece of hardware between my audient id44 audio interface and my monitors/sub.

So that everything I listen to in this room is filtered the same and I dont have to fight with asio vs non asio etc. or use different software to filter pro tools vs spotify etc.

MINIDSP flex appears to be suitable, as it has the amount of i/o’s i need and apperently has the capability of running a large amount of “taps” for FIR FILTERS.

But.. with tariffs etc. this is an $800 piece of equipment.

So .. i advice on—

A) am on the the right path to accomplish my needs in a “relatively” simple manner

B) is there a cheaper free standing DSP hardware option that can accomplish my goals ?

Thank you in advance and if this has been covered in exhaustion already i apologize but after a couple searches i didnt see any similar elementary topics addressed herein
